114 Quixotic Visions

$15.99

Mario Velez, was born in Athens Greece in 1990. Then raised in Puerto-Rico and educated in Texas until maturity. He has always possessed and still retains a vivid and storied imagination. An amateur filmmaker in his youth he settled down and focused on his wife and kids in Michigan for time. During his idleness he never stopped writing about the things he imagined, the people he met, the thoughts he had, and the deep well of curiosities and feelings he experienced about everything. This book holds 114 plus a few bonus slices of that life he’s lived. From 2004 – 2024. 20 years of interpretation from a millennial who has been around, seen some things, and learned he really loves poetry.

A poetry collection of my personal meditations. The mysteries that maybe one day can be found out. For now we must sit in the fog of pensive wandering, and wade through the unknowns. Otherwise in the gray they will stay, all those things that lead to answers. Even if that means making sense of something senseless in a meandering innocent way.

“I’ve been thinking of your book ever since I started reading it. That poem No Doubt still resonates with me.”
